Carix is a boutique business advisory. We are focused on SME businesses with turnover of up to $100m. We are effective because we understand the particular issues faced by small-to-medium sized businesses, and we work in partnership with our clients to bring about real improvements.

Since 2004, we have supported SMEs in a variety of industries, professions and trades to review their practices and to develop and implement strategies for business turnaround and sustainable growth.

The Carix Team

Stuart Carr, Carix principal advisor, has worked with a range of manufacturing and service businesses to improve their overall business performance, working closely with staff to achieve positive outcomes in a short timeframe. Stuart is a proven senior level manager (CEO/GM) in the private and public sectors both in Australia and overseas, and has a strong track record in harnessing intellectual and human capital. He has a detailed understanding of regulatory processes, change management and stakeholder-liaison.

Peter Smith has been a strategic business consultant, coach and mentor for 10 years. Sharing with clients the knowledge gained through 25 years’ board and senior management experience in ambitious, fast growing organisations where he had responsibility for developing and delivering business growth at the strategic and operational level. Peter has an analytical and practical approach to problem solving and believes planning, clear communication, and measurement are key to successful business development.

Susan Woodland is a communications professional with a depth of experience in strategic planning, brand management, marketing communication, media and public relations, and issues management. Susan is adept at bringing information alive for diverse audiences and has an equal aptitude for tackling technical information and consumer topics.

Rae Chin is a qualified accountant with more than 10 years' experience in business services both in private practice and commerce. With an interest in small business and strong administrative and organisational skills, she enjoys providing ideas and solutions to help clients grow their business.

Leonard Robertson is an expert in financial analysis and modelling and a licensed business broker.
